Outdoor Pursuits

For equestrian pursuits, there are several riding stables in the area. Lac Chambon and Les Trois Lacs by the river Creuse provide ideal locations for swimming, kayaking, water ski-ing and boating.

Those who are interested in wildlife will not be disappointed. Deer, pine marten and foxes are regular visitors to the camp, with red squirrels in the surrounding woodland.

You may see buzzards, black and red kites and migratory flocks of cranes flying overhead. Kingfishers, herons and dippers visit our lake, while black, green and lesser spotted woodpeckers, nuthatches, hoopoe, jays and magpies, along with the usual garden birds that we all know can be spotted around our campsite.
